Captain America: Civil War is a 2016 American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Captain America, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the thirteenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In Captain America: Civil War, disagreement over international oversight of the Avengers fractures them into opposing factions—one led by Steve Rogers and the other by Tony Stark.
Development of Civil War began in late 2013 when Markus and McFeely began writing the screenplay, which borrows concepts from the 2006 comic book storyline Civil War, while also focusing on story and character elements from the previous Captain America films to conclude the trilogy. Following positive reactions to test screenings of The Winter Soldier, the Russo brothers were brought back to direct in early 2014. The film's title and premise were revealed in October 2014, along with Downey's casting; additional cast members joined in the following months. Principal photography began in April 2015 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios inFayette County, Georgia, and continued in the Metro Atlanta area before concluding in Germany in August 2015, with the film being the first to use IMAX's digital 2D cameras (for the film's central "splash page"-inspired fight sequence). Visual effects were provided by nearly 20 different studios during the post production process.
Captain America: Civil War held its world premiere in Los Angeles on April 12, 2016, and was released in the United States on May 6, 2016, in 3D and IMAX 3D. The film became a critical and commercial success, grossing over $1.1 billion worldwide.

The BFG is a 2016 American fantasy adventure film directed and co-produced by Steven Spielberg, from a screenplay by Melissa Mathison, and based on the novel of the same name by Roald Dahl. The film stars Mark Rylance in the title role, an elderly giantwho kidnaps the orphan Sophie, played by Ruby Barnhill, as to accompany his loneliness and to help him on a mission in Giant Country. Penelope WiltonJemaine ClementRebecca HallRafe Spall, and Bill Hader are featured in supporting performances.
Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall began development on an adaptation of The BFG in the 1990s, with various screenwriters hired to work on the screenplay in the subsequent years. DreamWorks Pictures acquired the screen rights to Dahl's book in September 2011, with Marshall and Sam Mercer as producers, Mathison as screenwriter, and Kennedy as executive producer. Spielberg was announced as director in April 2014, alongside his company Amblin Entertainment as co-producer. Principal photography commenced in March 2015, with Walden Media joining the production and Walt Disney Pictures following as well, a month later.
The BFG premiered at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival on May 14, 2016. The film is scheduled to be released in the Disney Digital 3-DRealD 3D and conventional theatrical formats on July 1, 2016.

The film received a limited release in China on January 23 for a special three-hour sneak preview and was released starting from January 28 in South Korea and Russia and on January 29 in the United States and Canada in 3D. The film grossed $518 million worldwide.

The film is scheduled to be released on August 5, 2016, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.

Casting began in October 2014, while principal photography commenced in April 2015 in Montreal and ended in August of the same year. X-Men: Apocalypse premiered in London on May 9, 2016, and was released in North America on May 27, 2016, in 3D and 2D, and inIMAX 3D in select international markets.[3] The film received mixed reviews and has grossed over $484 million worldwide.

Gods of Egypt is a 2016 Australian-American fantasy action film directed by Alex Proyas. In the film, which features ancient Egyptian deities, Butler plays the god of darkness Set who takes over the Egyptian empire, and Thwaites plays the mortal hero Bek who partners with the god Horus, played by Coster-Waldau, to save the world and rescue his love.[5]
Filming took place in Australia under the American studio Summit Entertainment. While the film's production budget was$140 million, the parent company Lionsgate's financial exposure was less than $10 million due to tax incentives and pre-sales. The Australian government provided a tax credit for 46% of the film's budget. When Lionsgate began promoting the film in November 2015, it received backlash for its predominantly white cast playing Egyptian deities. In response, Lionsgate and director Proyas apologized for ethnically inaccurate casting.
Lionsgate released Gods of Egypt in theaters globally starting on February 25, 2016 in 2D, RealD 3D, and IMAX 3D, and in the United States, Canada, and 68 other markets on February 26. The film was panned by critics and was a box office failure, grossing a total of $142 million against a $140 million budget.
